Here are the tools I use to work out at home to skip the gym fees.
If you go to the gym beware it's easy to become overwhelmed with all your options. When weight lifting simpler is better. Each piece of equipment has it's pro and cons don't get hung up on which is best the best piece of equipment is the one you use consistently.

Track Your Progress
I have been using this app for the last year consistently. Tracking your progress helps identify where you are at in your fitness journey. There is a free version and a paid version. I use the paid version as it has a lot of detailed info about my workouts, which I'm finding valuable for my growth. If you don't use this app for tracking find one you can live with and use it. You need to know if your growing and where your growing.
The Tools I Use
First off let me start with, I do not make any money off of these products. These are what I purchased to start with and have been the staple of my program. I workout at home and do not go to the gym I my workouts are typically outside. So these are just recommendations on what to start with. If you have access to machines, cool this workout can be tailored to whatever you have access too. But you will need the basics no matter what you do.

Adjustable Dumbbells
This was my first purchase, when I started I had a set of 15lb dumbbells. I knew I was going to out grow those so I planned for future growth. These particular ones are up to 52lb. I have had no problems with these dumbbells highly recommend. I will add a link to amazon for those who want to learn more.

A good quality bench you can fold up when your done.
When I first started last year I worked out in my bedroom. So I needed to save space anyway I could. A folding bench was my answer. I picked this because of price point and was going to do what I needed it to. Now that I have moved outside I will be buying a different style of bench you’ll see why the further down you go. At the time of me writing this model was unavailable.

I prefer a 7ft bar Vs 5ft bar.
No explanation needed here. Find a bar you like and start lifting. You can find some pretty good deals on amazon.

Weight Plates
I have weights with 1 inch center holes because I already had a set of the vinyl covered weights and was given another. I do foresee my self buying an olympic bar and weight set in the in the middle of the year. So bemindful of how much weight you’ll be lifting in the future.

Adjustable Squat Stands
So I bought these because i needed to be able to break them down and save space in my bedroom. I use them as dip bars as well. Very functional but I’m 6’1 and i feel like they become less stable the higher you they are. So I’m super mindful on my squats. Incline bench and flat bench they are very sturdy and don’t move around on me. Same with dips I feel stable enough to do several sets with out worrying.

JeFit App
Track your progress so you know where you are in your fitness journey. I used the paid version but used the free version for a long time. It’s worth my money for the paid version.
